Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed. Sit in a comfortable position, place your hands lightly on your thighs, and straighten your back.
Turn your shoulders back, relax and sink, open your chest, and close your eyes lightly.
Sit and breathe
Empty all thoughts and focus on your breathing.
Let it out first.
Take a long, deep breath in through your nose;
Take a long breath out of your nose as far as it will go.
Take another deep breath and let the air stay in your body for a while;
Exhale slowly.
Take another deep breath and feel your spine extending upward;
Exhale slowly and feel your shoulders drop and relax.
According to your own breathing speed,
Calm and regular breathing.
When there are messy thoughts in your mind, it doesn’t matter.
Just gently bring your attention back to your breath.
As you inhale, imagine breathing in calm energy;
When exhaling, let out the distracting thoughts in your mind.
Warm the soul
Now imagine that your breath is like a stream of warmth.
