We offer comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programs accredited by Yoga Alliance, including 100-hour, 200-hour, 300-hour, and 500-hour courses. In addition, we host special workshops, various programs rooted in the vedanta traditions, and educational programs designed for yoga students of all levels.

Is Rishikesh Yog Dham accredited?

Yes, Rishikesh Yog Dham is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, meaning our teacher training programs meet internationally recognized standards.

What is the difference between 100, 200, 300, and 500-hour TTC programs?

The numbers refer to the total number of training hours:

  • 100-hour TTC: A foundational course
  • 200-hour TTC: The minimum required training to become a certified teacher through Yoga Alliance
  • 300-hour TTC: Advanced training, typically taken after completing a 200-hour course
  • 500-hour TTC: A comprehensive program combining both the 200-hour and 300-hour trainings
What is the daily schedule during the teacher training program?

The daily schedule typically includes yoga and meditation practice, lectures on yoga philosophy and anatomy, teaching methodology workshops, and self-study sessions. We strive to maintain a balanced curriculum that supports your holistic development.

What are the prerequisites for joining?

While prior yoga experience is helpful, it is not required. We welcome students of all levels—from beginners to advanced practitioners—who have a sincere interest in deepening their practice and understanding of yoga.

What Yoga Teacher Training (TTC) programs are offered?

We offer the following programs:

Do I need to be certified by Yoga Alliance to teach?

Legally required? No.
Helpful for your career? Often, yes.

While certification through Yoga Alliance is not legally required to teach yoga, it is widely recognized in the global yoga community as a standard of quality. Many studios and employers prefer or expect certification, as it assures them that you’ve completed a credible training program. Being Yoga Alliance-certified can enhance your credibility and increase your job opportunities, especially if you plan to teach internationally.

How do I pay for the course?

We accept payments through Direct Bank Transfer, Paypal / Wise, Standard cards on extra 5% extra charges (including Visa, Mastercard), for Foreign Students

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable loose-fitting clothes, shawl or thin warm hoodie for cool mornings and evenings, personal items, sandals, walking shoes, personal toiletries, towel and the other items as per your personal need. 

What happens if I get sick during my stay?

Basic first aid is available in the center and if required, local clinics, hospitals are available on request, for which the patient will bear the expenses of the doctor, medication and any further treatment. 

Can I receive mail/parcels?

Yes! Please mention the whole address with postal code for easy delivery.

Can I receive visitors?
