With clear instruction given into breath, alignment and sequencing principles so you can develop your own home practice to suit your needs. We offer a two-week intensive course for beginners, with all conducted in a safe, residential environment so you can learn personal practice with guidance, freedom, and ease. On completion, you will receive in-house RYD certification of your 100-hour training.

Our Yoga Teacher Training Programme is based on both the traditional Ashtanga Primary Series and the creative Vinyasa Flow. We start training programs with the primary chain for establishing proper alignment and breathing within each posture, creating a strong foundation.
With a strong technical foundation, you will then experiment with Vinyasa Yoga, adopting your internal flow and creativity. To balance the masculine energy of Yang's practices, we will also dive into the meditation practice of Yin Yoga.
The daily lecture will include topics such as functional anatomy, yoga philosophy, subtle energy, chakras, meditation, pranayama, mantras and more.
By the end of the yoga course, you will be able to teach the appropriately modified Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Class for all levels and offer modifications to students with injuries or physical limitations.

Your normal training day starts with morning yoga and meditation exercises. In the afternoon there are lectures, afternoon exercises, and group teaching. Your classroom lecture will change week-by-week with various topics including functional anatomy, yoga philosophy, history of yoga and Hinduism and class sequencing.
You will also learn practical hands-on assist, key postural alignment, the use of yoga props, and an ethical approach to the business of yoga. We will explore ethical topics of teaching yoga, practical business marketing skills, pricing, and how to build your online presence.
The important component of the course lies in practicing different styles of yoga. From the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series to Vinyasa, Yin, and Rocket Yoga you will receive an appreciation for many different forms of yoga in the modern world, discovering their uniqueness and objectives.
Upon graduation, you will be able to teach yoga to your future students with your own experience and knowledge.

In any case, our carefully designed multi-style yoga training will teach you three main styles of yoga: Hatha (including traditional and therapeutic), AshtangaVinyasa and Vinyasa Yoga. In our 100-hour yoga course, you will get basic yoga knowledge and teaching techniques. The course will develop your skills as a yoga therapist and a yoga teacher.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga was originated from the lineage of Sri.T. Krishnamacharya. From the University of Calcutta, Krishnamacharya found and recompiled the damaged ancient text-the Yoga Kurunta. It was believed that this text included groupings of the exact asanas of the 6 series and everything from drishti (gaze), bandhas (locks) to vinyasa. Thus the Kurunta formed the basis of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga System. When Krishnamachary left Mysore, India, he passed the tradition of spreading yoga to his oldest student-Pattabhi Jois. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga focuses on three particular aspects known as Tristhana: posture (asana), breath and drishti (gaze). Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and therapeutic yoga series that calms the mind and heals the body from any ailment. Vinyasa means breath and movement synchronization. By linking breath to movement, the Ashtanga series strengthens the respiratory system, energizing blood circulation and induces toxins elimination. As sense withdrawal occurs with eye focus and rhythmic breath cycles, it eventually becomes a moving meditation. When Pattahbi Jois brought Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga to the West in the 70’s, he helped to resolve some of the common ‘western bodies’ ailments such as tight hips, hamstrings and restless minds. Pattahbi Jois had passed away since 2009. His legend continues with this grandson Sharath Jois whom now is operating the Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India.
Developed by Larry Schultz, The “Rocket” is a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa sequences allowing the practitioner to explore advanced postures in a playful manner. Divided into 3 progressive sequences, Rocket yoga combines pose from the first, second and advanced series with a faster tempo allowing the practitioners to explore new dimensions internally and externally. Rocket 1 focuses on forwarding bends. Similar to the Full Primary series, the logic is to create length in the hamstrings and lower spine. This helps correct postural imbalances due to daily lifestyle such as prolonged sitting at a desk in the office. Drawing on the wisdom from the second series in Ashtanga, Rocket 2 introduces backbends in a way that is progressive and accessible to all levels of practitioners. Finally, Rocket 3 is a test of the stamina. It is a combination of Rocket 1 and 2 with playful transitions and inversions. Rocket 3 albeit challenging is still accessible to all levels. Modifications are available for beginners and variations are encouraged for intermediate/advanced practitioners. Full of arms balances, core exercises, and challenging transition, the Rocket will “take you there faster!”
The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “to place in order.” Like placing yoga postures in an order that will open the body up intelligently. In Vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate action with breath from one pose to another. The order specially designed by the teacher often challenges you to create strength, flexibility and balance. Vinaysa flow yoga is a form of classical hatha yoga. It creates internal heat, creates lethargy in the body. It can be vigorous or noticeable, usually paced faster than other persistence based classes. The Viencia Flow from the Ashtanga Yoga Set Sequence provides a different perspective on other postures and their implications on the body and mind. Also, this is a good way to add variety to your daily practice.
